GOLDEN EAGLE, Gasket Intake Manifold – Mitsubishi/Proton

Golden Eagle intake gaskets will help reduce intake air temps by removing the direct connection of the intake manifold to the cylinder head. By placing this thermal gasket between the intake manifold and the cylinder head, you will help reduce the amount of heat soak the intake manifold normally absorbs from the cylinder head.

-Thermal Shield Gaskets will reduce heat soak between your intake manifold and your
head.
-Made from virgin sheet material with high heat deflection.
-Max operating temperature 500°F/260°C

Advantages to this System are :
– Reduces Heat soak / transfer from the engine into the intake manifold where a
Manifold Divider Gasket is used
– Throttle body spacers achieve the same result where most throttle bodies utilise
hot water chokes and emission controls.
– The cooler manifold no longer heats the incoming air which allows increased
ignition timing / tuning
– This modification can be installed without visible signs and can retain factory
new vehicle warranties
– Can be cleaned and refitted multiple times
– This is considered to be an extension of any Cold Air Induction kit fitted to your
vehicle. Why pump cold air in only to be heated by the manifold.

Why do they Work :
– For every 5 Degree reduction in temperature, increases the density of the air and
therefore the power by 1%
– The cooler the air, the more dense it is with a greater proportion of oxygen
molecules.
– The more air your engine can ingest when it is cooler and denser, the more air to
be mixed with fuel providing greater thermal efficiency
– With the appropriate tuning, providing more power, fuel economy and most
importantly, more reliability.
