ELGIN ZERO-TICK Tappets / Lash Adjusters / Hydraulic Lifters for Mitsubishi 4G9# DOHC
ZERO-TICK lifters utilize a stiffer spring inside to help keep the lifter at its operating height even when oil pressure is low. Lifters must be bled down before installation. Tick-Tick-Tick-Tick. Does your car have the infamous tick! The Original Tappets fitted to EVO’s  1-9 /  4G93 GSR 4G91, 4G92, 4G93,  DOHC had a 1mm hole, the 1mm hole caused problems with blocking up which was why Mitsubishi switched on the later EVO’s to 3mm.
